Message from the President

Maitri Educational & Cultural Association, Bhilai

I feel immense pride and gratitude as I reflect upon the journey of Maitri Vidya Niketan, which began in 1998 with a humble nursery school. What started with a handful of students and a dream has now flourished into a Senior Secondary School with campuses at Risali, Bhilai and Patan, Durg, along with Bhilai Maitri College, all serving as pillars of holistic education in the region.

As the first teacher and a founder member, I have had the privilege of nurturing this institution from its very foundation. Together with our beloved founder President, my late husband Shri K. Sudhakaran, we worked with dedication, discipline, and a deep belief in the transformative power of education. His vision, rooted in the teachings of Sree Narayana Guru, continues to inspire every step we take.

Maitri’s journey is a testament to the values of hard work, perseverance, and inclusive growth. We remain committed to providing quality education that not only empowers students academically but also shapes them into responsible, compassionate citizens.
